Estrangement Peer Support Circle: 8‑week Cycle

A therapist-facilitated peer support group for adults navigating parental/caregiver estrangement

Estrangement often carries layers of grief that go unseen—relief and heartbreak, anger and longing, certainty and doubt, all at once. Many people find themselves holding these experiences quietly, unsure where they belong or whether others will truly understand.

The Estrangement Peer Support Circle offers a steady, relational space for adults who are estranged (or partially estranged) from a parent or caregiver. This group centers shared understanding, emotional honesty, and connection, without pressure to explain, justify, reconcile, or “fix” what has happened.

This is a peer-support–based group with therapeutic facilitation, not a traditional group therapy process. Each 8-week cycle provides structure and continuity while honoring that estrangement is deeply personal and nonlinear. Participants are welcome to join for one cycle or continue across multiple cycles as support needs evolve.
