Big Sis to Big Sis: Eldest Daughters Therapy Group
The Eldest Daughters Therapy Group is a 4-week group designed to support women who are experiencing burnout from over responsibility as an eldest daughter and want to heal in community with others who really get it. Guided by a licensed therapist, group members will have space to share about their experiences and learn and practice skills to build healthy relationship dynamics with themselves and others. This group is for eldest daughters and any woman who considers herself the “responsible” and “go-to” person within her family.
Topics discussed include:
Addressing self-abandonment: Reconnect with your inner voice
Setting boundaries: Learn to say yes to what matters to you
Developing your identity: Explore who you are outside of the roles you hold
Cultivating joy: Invite creativity, rest, and fun into your daily life
What you’ll gain from the group:
Courage and practice saying yes to what you need with less guilt
Effective and assertive communication skills
Tools for self-exploration
Ideas on how to invest in joy daily
Community with other women who really get it
Resources to help you stay on track with your progress from week to week
When: Wednesdays, October 22nd - November 12th from 6p- 7:15p (virtually)
Cost: $50 per meeting paid via credit card of FSA/HSA card
